Hey, all, I promised to report back on Grub Street's Muse & the Marketplace conference in Boston. A huge hit! If you've ever been to AWP (the Association of Writers and Writing Programs), this is just as great, but on a "smaller" (750 participants, not 6,000) scale. Anyone in New England who is looking for a good conference ought to check this one out. I drove two hours from New Haven and was not disappointed! www.grubstreet.org

This Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8th and 9th, my SF novel Twin-Bred will be free on Amazon. This is the last time the book will be free (except to reviewers) until just before the sequel comes out, which may be this October.

Lynne & Regina, Sorry, I've been off SW for a bit--grading papers! Yes, Grub Street's Muse & the Marketplace is coming up this weekend. They do run workshops year-round, but this is the big one. I haven't been before, but will report back! Again, if anyone else is going, I'd love to meet up!
