Novelists - published or not - chatting about beginnings, muddy middles, dang endings, what to do with it all. Please don't shout (all caps, big images) or post links on the main wall except as part of the conversation. Please do include modestly sized covers in "Our Published Novels"!

Gather for a real-tiime chat on the first Wednesday of each month at 1 EST for topic-based discussions about writing and publishing novels. To join us, just log into She Writes and click on the "Main Room" at the bottom right of your page. It will pop up the "Main Room" box, with the ongoing chat and a place to speak up yourself. If no one is chatting when you arrive, do just say hello.

Comment by Tonya Rice on May 30, 2012 at 8:40am Aww, thanks Tyra! :) I understand that! Something in me pushed me this time. I've got my calendar up on the wall, so I have no choice but to keep track of the days and words. That'll help keep me on board with that project separately from my current work. I'll keep y'all posted. Thanks again for your encouragement - it means a lot!
Comment by Tyra Brumfield on May 30, 2012 at 7:48am You're an inspiration, Tonya. I've toyed with the idea of NoWriMo for months, maybe even years. I hope you'll keep us updated to how it's going.

Comment by Cara Lopez Lee on May 28, 2012 at 10:21am Tonya, what makes you think the type of person that can do this is that you are, indeed, actually doing it. Showing up is half the battle. You go, girl!
Comment by Tonya Rice on May 28, 2012 at 7:03am Thanks bunches, Danielle!! I do wonder how I'll fare in this move. It was an out-of-body experience when I signed up! LOL! We writers just have to do what we do. I'll keep us posted.
@Tonya, never nuts. Brave ♥ The best writing comes out of that kind of bravery I think. :)
Comment by Tonya Rice on May 28, 2012 at 6:44am I am still in the middle of my rewrite on my first novel and for the life of me, I'm still trying to figure out just what makes me think I can do this JuNoWriMo that starts Friday!!! I'm anxious to clear out some of the roadmaps that are forming with this other story in my head, but I also now think I'm nuts to make such a commitment!!!
