Comment by Nicky Wheeler-Nicholson on April 5, 2011 at 7:21pm Will start posting more on the blog. It's been a little crazy here and all has not been smooth sailing as it were, but I finally uncovered my desk today. Of course, the internet was down all day due to the terrific storms we had last night. I'm not sure how it happened but the wind literally pulled a 4x4 8 foot post with carolina jasmine covering it out of the ground! No joke. Pretty intense.
Thank you all so much for all you have done and are doing.

Comment by Laura B Gschwandtner on April 5, 2011 at 6:24am Zetta, i know I'm thick as molasses but would you pls post the blog link here again? Thanks!
or maybe above where you have the purchase links -- so it's easy to find.
Comment by Zetta Brown on April 5, 2011 at 5:57am If ever y'all come across something like this, post a little blurb with a link and an image on the Oil and Water...blog, that'll be good.
The "Meet the Authors" series is over (only 3 no-shows) so now the blog is free every day to post any kind of Gulf news or human interest :)
Comment by Laura B Gschwandtner on April 4, 2011 at 12:40pm Oh this is just heartbreaking.
My family has watched the sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs in FL many times. And we've watched the babies hatch and swim off to the sea. My youngest daughter even swam out with one many years ago, bobbing up and down with that tiny vulnerable creature, the two of them like swimming buddies at sea camp.
Must be especially hard for you, Nicky, being right there.
