I tried to take part in the cyberlaunch but FB kept expressing my comments as coming from "Oil and Water." :-( I hope it went well.

I have tried to comment at the cyberlaunch. Evidently the user name I think I have is not the one the gods of cyber space recognize. I am very frustrated and ready to go back to a typewriter and dial phone! N

I held a competition for the antho on GoodReads.com and offered 2 copies for the US and 2 copies in the UK for the winners. It ran for a month and just closed yesterday. There were 99 entries from the UK and nearly 700 entries from the US. So that's close to 1000 people who now know about the book and will hopefully buy it.

Also, on Feb. 5, at Busboys & Poets, 14th & V St., N.W., Washington, D.C., there will be a reading:

"Gulf Tolls - A Poetry Reading in Tribute to the Gulf of Mexico"

Time is 5-7 p.m.

The reading is sponsored by Split This Rock (splitthisrock.org) and Poets for Living Waters (www.poetsgulfcoast.wordpress.com/).
