Welcome to the Group!

This group isn’t just for paranormal and supernatural writers, but anyone interested in these subjects. Published, unpublished, it doesn’t matter. Even if you just have the idea for a story but haven’t written it yet, or like to read these kinds of books, you are welcome to join!

Feel free to post a discussion about anything writing related. After all, we are all writers here. Writing tips that can be useful to other writers is especially welcome. And, of course, discussions about paranormal/supernatural fiction and authors are very much encouraged.

Please introduce yourself and tell us about what you’re writing in the discussion: Who Are You, What Are You Writing?

Thank you for joining!

That sounds really good, Elisabeth! Do you have the old folklore for that cursed spring? Maybe you can share that story in a discussion. I'd love to learn about it.

Mum's the word :) lol  New WIP   I'm starting a new storyline - about a young woman forest ranger who finds a dead body in the woods. I want it to be in either NH or Vermont. There is an old folklore about a cursed spring up north on the border - perfect spot for the story.  Is anyone else starting a new project? #TGIF

Everyone can post a discussion at anytime. Maybe we are all just too busy, but I do like the idea of a weekly discussion where everyone can share a line from their story.

If I think of anything to help I'll let you know. I have a similar situation on BookLikes. I started a group there (book reviews) but no one converses.  Anyway, I hope we can keep this going. I trust this place - we all love weird :) Maybe we can do something weekly that actually helps our WIP ~ like post the first line of each chapter?  or maybe share thoughts on our struggles with our writing? Or maybe we're all too busy, which I know is true. Nice touching base Chrys Fey and friends.

@Liz, yes, the group has been silent. I've tried to find way to get people to participate more, but they didn't really work.

Wow! it looks like it's been ages since anyone has posted in the group. I'm guessing we're all busy. LOL ~ If everything could be as easy as twitter :)  I know I see Chrys Fey there. Just wanted you to know that I hope you all keep writing. I hope this group stays alive, too. No more ghosts ha ha  Have a great summer fellow paranormal writers . . .  keep on believing (in yourself)

Just went to your blog and love it! I am looking for a critique on my blurb and synopsis for my angel book.

I blogged this before via WordPress but just posted here on She Writes as well about my book release. To celebrate the release of book two, I am giving free copies of my first book Breaking Cursed Bonds in eBook format (this is the one I rewrote and had Jen Blood edit) Get a copy if you want here:

http://www.instafreebie.com/campaign/BK3OGO6kq7BRmV3hLAFq9QxzGiKAxW...

No gimmicks - I used InstaFreebie instead of the Amazon giveaway so I can sell in other venues as well- always something new to try in marketing. Anyway, you give your email only to receive the file - I see nothing :) but you get to read the book. If anyone has the time, please grab a copy and honest reviews are always nice, too! (please say you received a free copy to keep Amazon happy)

I am working on the third book in the series, which is more intense than the others, wrapping the entire saga up. About half way there with the rough draft. I have to say I enjoy writing more and more each day. I decided to let go of the frustrations and just do it for the art. It made a big difference for me.

Have a great long weekend! I'll be writing and maybe reading a scary story or two.
