I think we should have a standing thread for writing accomplishments (so they aren't buried in other posts, though please add them there too!).

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a real illness caused by many different traumatic situations and can happen to anyone!  Visit "Has PTSD Touched You?" plus an excerpt from Chapter 26 of my memoir on My Journey into Publishing My 1st Book.

What a fun way to get some funding for editing AND - get some momentum going!  CHECK IT OUT!  ... I will keep you posted on how this approach work out.  It has been fun and uplifting getting this project on kickstarter.

Hang in there Brooke, don't get discouraged. This is the most challenging part of the process. Keep on keeping on..."WriteOn"

Unfortunately the agent decided to turn the project down, though she was very very nice about it.  I am a bit frustrated because I am getting form rejections with very little interest from the query and yet this agent was very interested based on the query, so I don't know if it's a problem there or not.  I also am getting conflicting opinions on the structure, so I'm back to the drawing board I guess.

Just got a request for my proposal from an agent.  I've spent the fall working really hard on this, so I am encouraged.  Anyone else have updates?

Hey girls, I'm thinking to start a project on my blog. I will write a short novel (maybe , let's call it novel) but divided in many parts which I will post every week. Each week, one post. I don't know whether some of you have ever done this before. Maybe, before I start to post the first part, would you give me any advice? Hehehee... =)

My blog is about almost everything about me and my projects. It's on http://brigida-alexandra.blogspot.com
