Unfortunately the agent decided to turn the project down, though she was very very nice about it.  I am a bit frustrated because I am getting form rejections with very little interest from the query and yet this agent was very interested based on the query, so I don't know if it's a problem there or not.  I also am getting conflicting opinions on the structure, so I'm back to the drawing board I guess.

Just got a request for my proposal from an agent.  I've spent the fall working really hard on this, so I am encouraged.  Anyone else have updates?

The SheWrites team is inspired by this festive season! Through Dec. 24th, shewrites.com will focus on The Gift of Inspiration in every aspect of what we do as writers.

So let's stir up a snow-flurry of community inspiration!

GET INSPIRATION

Check out our daily writing prompts from 10 inspiring writers and post something short and sweet in response, like a one-word answer, a photo, or video. [Today's post is: What inspires you to…keep writing when the writing gets tough? #swi...]

GIVE INSPIRATION

Know the perfectly-inspired book to give that certain someone? Recommend it through the She Writes Recomm-engine!

Know a writer who's looking for resources and the best writing community out there? Invite them to join She Writes!

Ok, let's get out there and spread the inspiration!  I can't wait to hear from you.
