She who does not read is not a good writer. Gotta keep up with the genre. What awesome PNR/UF books have you read lately? Let us know why we should add it our TBR pile!

I'll go first. My favorite type of paranormal creature is a...werewolf. There is just something about the concept of a werewolf (probably the animal magnetism lol) that makes me giddy. And my…Continue

Comment by Fierce Dolan on April 19, 2012 at 9:08am You've read paranormal erotica, but unless it had zombies banging their way through Sin City, I promise you've haven't really read it. Author of love that goes bump in the night, Olivia Starke, is making a name for herself, giving paranormal fiction new life--or should I say, "infecting it" with a modern twist. Check out her new series, Zombies in Vegas on my blog.

Comment by Alle C. Hall on January 9, 2012 at 3:05pm Just published a review of Ryan Boudinot's new novel, “Blueprints of the Afterlife For PLOP! Magazine.
http://www.facebook.com/literallyplop
“Blueprints of the Afterlife” runs a gorgeous gamut: complex, blunt, evocative, grimy, and disgusting; full of pain, of hope, of pure bliss. The plot is your straightforward sci-fi fantasy based in post-apocalyptical Seattle. Valued garbage is everywhere. Food is yucky. Joys are few. Anti-heroes must save humanity. Don’t yawn yet. The sheer imagination with which Boudinot’s tale unwinds is stunning.
Comment by Cornelia Pauline on December 27, 2011 at 9:33am I'm new to She Writes and to this group and just wanted to say hi to everyone! I was so excited when I found this group because I'm obsessed with reading and writing paranormal romance ! I just finished my first paranormal romance novel & if you get a chance, it would be great if you could check out my query for this novel at: http://www.shewrites.com/group/querycritiquev20/forum/topics/query-... & maybe leave a line or two that will help me fine tune my query letter. One of my New Year's goals is to get my book published so that other fans and lovers of this genre can enjoy my story :).

Even if you don’t have a novel, spread the word! Please tell everyone you think would be interested in this contest about it. It is open to everyone, not just She Writers, and we’d love to have as much participation as possible.
