This is where we can list what we have accomplished each day or week to help us move forward in our writing, to encourage one another to work, to hold ourselves accountable with our sister writers, to find a reason or push to write a blog, a book, a play, a paragraph, a thought, a title or in this case a run on sentence.
What have you written this week?

Well, I'm re-writing at the moment. My next novel is done but just had first round of edits and did the rework and now getting ready to send to the next editor. But I have been getting distracted at every turn. Ughhhh!

I haven't written this week :(  But I have a blog post due Monday so I have to write that. I'm also planning to, no, I'm going to evict the dust bunnies out of my 3 year old manuscript that's still in its infancy. Hold me to this ladies :)

I haven't written anything in a few weeks - I just adopted two kittens and have been a busy mama making them feel at home. I will try this week to get in, at the very least, 1500 words. I THINK I'm writing chapter two, hehe.

2 blog posts here, and about five sentences total on my WIP, 3 of which are edits.

...and I was bragging I was a third of the way done! *sigh*

This week is a good week! I've written every day this week. It's only Wednesday, but I'm feeling really good about keeping consistent.

I've had my fair share of fair-weather friends and abusive ones too. These days, though, I finally have Friends I can count on. http://bit.ly/J9sVWp

Okay, Only in this group can I brag about accomplishing anything, because we all know how hard that is. Here is what I have done in the past month:

Finished: writing a historical dinner theatre play for Tyrone Plantation in Alexandria, LA. (The first in a series. Don't know how long it will be before I get to the next one.)

Revised, "Before the Freedom", a reading on slavery, finished 4 monologues of Confederate soldiers stories for Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana and found/begged four men to reinact the roles. (Two men backed out last week and I was worried that I would have to be one of the characters.)

All these productions take place April 27th & 28th.They are part of the 2nd year of the Civil War remembrances.

Thought last year it was a one time thing. Then I found out, No, it was going on for four years. Well, a month ago I was told it will be a total of five years.

I didn't like having to wait until the last minute to do all the writing, but tearing up my shoulder really put me behind the eight ball.

If anyone is near Alexandria, LA or wants more info contact me on facebook or send an email to: terrifeb@yahoo.com be sure and put Civil War Events in the subject line.

Quotes, Memoirs, and Books on Writing I've Read to Avoid...Doing It

Working on my memoir, I've turned to many, many (many many, too many) books with tips on how to get started, organized, and inspired.  I also read a lot of what other authors say about the process and will share quotes here, as well.  I'll begin…See More
