Thank you so much! You have lessened my stress level. :)

Lori - romance is usually 80-85 k words, so don't worry about it being too long.

The two sites I found best to send to agents (I have one now) was AgentQuery and 1000literaryagents. Don't forget though, to check every single agent on Preditors and Editors before you submit to them. Good luck!

Hello everyone,

I've recently finished writing a Novel and am looking for info on where and how to send it to agents. Still doing edits so I have a little more time now for research.

It's a love story that spans over a 30 year period with a couple twists in between.

It's over the 70,000 words I'm finding are usual for a novel...hence the editing.

Look forward to learning and getting to know everyone here.

Have a great day.

Barb, good to see you here as well as in SinC Guppies.  It's nice when familiar names crop up in places you don't expect to see them.

The mysteries I'm working on are also set in the 1970s, although later in the decade, and in Europe. I've looked in bookstores to see what else has been published about that time, but there are very few books in print. I hope that means that the market is wide open and not that no one is interested. <fingers crossed>

I write cozy mysteries. I'm also writing a women's fiction book. It's about four women who have known each other since grade school, then went their separate ways after high school. They come together for a funeral. All have pasts that they don't want to share. One woman would like to know what the marine who fought in Vietnam broke their engagement upon his return. The year was 1970.

Hello everyone. I hope that everyone is being productive and steadily working on their various projects.  It’s been challenging for me recently but I am trying to maintain a positive outlook on things and press on with my projects, although they are moving slower than I would like.  I have been working on reigniting my creative spark and trying to get back to the basics of my writing career which includes focusing a little less on social media.  I have written quite a few new blog posts since last posting here so I hope that you all will go check them out at and also check out the latest issue of my online magazine,

I hope that you all will check it out and please follow and leave a comment with a link to your blogs because I am always looking for new blogs to follow and even to feature in my Write 2 Be Magazine.  For updates on Write 2 Be Magazine you can also like the Write 2 Be Magazine fan page and become a part of the magazine!  If you are expressly interested in having your blog featured in Write 2 Be Magazine please like the Write 2 Be Magazine fan page and leave a link to your blog there.  I look forward to reading your blogs!
