2012: A Year of Accomplishments for me as an author, thanks to the people in my life who helped enormously, and my New Years poem dedicated to them and faithful followers.

Should it be possible (legal) to buy used ebooks and other digital items? With digital thieves stealing digital works and making money off it while the creator of those works get nothing, there's a debate heating up to make it possible for anyone to resell their digital files.

Oak Tree Press is actively looking for mysteries featuring law enforcement or other public safety workers as protagonists. We like to do a book launch at the annual PSWA conference in Vegas in July.
We are looking for finished manuscripts, polished, ready to go. We are also requiring authors to be strong marketers and have a platform in place. We have no problem with previously published works or self-published. Contact Sunny Frazier at http://www.sunnyfrazier.com
Also looking for anything for our Wild Oaks Western line.

I'm cross posting this so apologies if you see it more than once, but digital thieves (you may call them "pirates", but I call 'em like I see 'em) have taken to the skies.

Has or is anyone using Bookbaby for publishing? I would be interested in hearing what you have to say about them.

Goodbye, Cursive: Why I'll Miss You

I spent second grade trying to please Mrs. Rebscher. She had a paddle, and she wasn’t afraid to use it on any seven-year-old who got out of line. Under her watchful eye, we worked hard on our penmanship. Graduating from printing to cursive was proof…See More
