Anybody in the Nashville, TN area? I'm doing a reading sponsored by GLSEN at the Main Library downtown at 2 p.m. It's about my new novel, Another F-Word, about bullying of a gay kid in the rural South. Stop by if you're in the area. Would love to meet other SheWriters.

I'm working on a memoir that chronicles my relationships and escapades with women after coming out in the 1980s.

My newest novel,  Another F-Word, is about a gay boy growing up in rural Tenn. He faces bullying from family, classmates, his preacher, etc. but manages to thrive and survive despite it. The book also addresses a parent's struggle to support her gay child.

Midwest Book Review says, ..."Teenagers and adults would benefit from reading this book."
