For me, it's the (almost finished) YA novel I have been rewriting and revising and now, editing to as-good-as-it-gets status since I was about 18 years old (a LONNNNNG time ago, ladies and ladies). I…Continue

Hi everyone. My field of writing are film scripts. I am almost finished my first one, in about six weeks time, I hope and then off to the Reader Service for assessment. Keeping it commercial because I am hoping, should I succeed, I will gain a lucrative contract for it. I am hoping that if I can make a reputation by selling scripts on spec, I live in London and due to health issues etc can't travel far etc, but if I can establish myself, I am hoping to be able to include strong women/lesbian characters where I can. I can see I have a certain amount of talent, it is just exploiting it commercially, while knowing that nothing is guaranteed in life. Any comments? I'd love to hear from others and their projects...

Hi y'all. FYI, Another F-Word, my latest novel about a gay boy in the rural South, is a semi-finalist in the 2013 Best Indie Book Awards competition, as reported in the Kindle Book Review. I'm so pleased that they didn't eliminate it due to subject matter.

Anybody in the Nashville, TN area? I'm doing a reading sponsored by GLSEN at the Main Library downtown at 2 p.m. It's about my new novel, Another F-Word, about bullying of a gay kid in the rural South. Stop by if you're in the area. Would love to meet other SheWriters.

I'm working on a memoir that chronicles my relationships and escapades with women after coming out in the 1980s.

My newest novel,  Another F-Word, is about a gay boy growing up in rural Tenn. He faces bullying from family, classmates, his preacher, etc. but manages to thrive and survive despite it. The book also addresses a parent's struggle to support her gay child.

Midwest Book Review says, ..."Teenagers and adults would benefit from reading this book."
