Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there are any NY-based authors here? If so, are you interested in starting a writers' group, where we meet on a regular basis, read each others' work and provide feedback? A friend and I are meeting on Friday to discuss, so please respond if you are interested!

I would be interested, I own a NY magazine and am a writertoo. This sounds like a great idea.
Sorry about the typo.
Oh good - I'm glad! I think we're getting together on Friday to set up a time to meet. I'll let you know. I'm glad you can join!

I might be interested. I'm in the process of finishing/editing a second novel, and I have a great deal of experience with critiquing. The only thing is that I won't be able to meet on Fridays or Wednesdays.

Thanks for responding, you guys! I'm glad there's interest. I am trying to coordinate with the other person who wanted to form the group about when she wants to meet and how to go about it, etc. I will let you guys know as soon as possible.

Hey you guys,

Sorry I didn't reply in a while. I currently have a temp assignment with crazy hours! If you're still interested in a writing group, could you please email me at: tonya.plank@gmail.com so I can send your emails along to the person who's organizing the group (she's not on SheWrites) and we can all discuss logistics. Thank you, and sorry again about the late response!
