I've created a book trailer for my new book that just went for sale on Kindle, and while it is posted on both my website and You Tube, I'm just wondering if there is more I can be doing with it. For any of you that have book trailers - how are you using them? What seems to be most effective? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have a book trailer, it is on my facebook, you tube and my website! Would like to know how to set it up to my email. http://beneaththesilverlining.com check it out it is very well done I think!!

If you create a great book trailer, you might want to consider entering it in the Moby Book Trailer competition. Here is a link to a story about this year's competition: http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/the-winners-of-the-moby-awards....

One suggestion, however. Don't enter in the "Least Likely to Sell Books" category because you might win.

These are all rather cool comments. I haven't got a book published yet, but I like the idea of book trailers.
My book trailer was recently released. My publisher made it for me, which was great because I know nothing about making them. I love how it turned it. I posted it on my website, Facebook, Jacketflap, and Youtube. I'm not sure how much trailers actually help sales (my book doesn't come out until March) but it's definitely fun to have a trailer for your book!
You can post it on facebook and twitter and here (I'm pretty sure)

Always give the link when you guest at another blog. You can also add it to your Amazon Author page. Put the link in your signature wherever you post. I should see it in your posts here.

Tweet the link everyone once in awhile. Have you uploaded to Facebook too?

There are couple of blogs that post trailers and allow readers to vote on it. Can't remember the link right now, but easy to find with Google.

Book Trailer The Tales of Abu Nuwas

Book Trailer Ultimate Duty
