Hello!

I live in London but am planning to do a mini launch of my book in America. I have friends and family who can sort out dates and venue for me but wanted to know a bit about the reading culture in the States? Do people frequent cafes to read? Do universities hold writer reading events on campus? What is the best way to reach and target people there?

Help!

Thanks.

Nissi.

Hey there Nissi!

I would love to be your contact for the Atlanta, GA area, research/collect contact info, reach out to people, etc.

People do frequent cafes to read and listen to authors and spoken word artist, too.

Yes.  Universities hold writer reading events on campus.  Of course, like everything else in a writer's world, you have to make yourself known to the powers that be...

Because, I read your book, I think the best way to market a mini launch is linking up with a particular university and pairing it with a social media blitz.

Let me know what you think.

Congratulations on your mini-launch, Nissi!  What is the title of your book?
