I was asked to be a contributor on Feminism and Religion. What else would I write about, but my path to modern shamanism?

Rebecca, Congrats on your 500th blog post! :) What a fabulous way to celebrate. :)

Hi! I wanted to let y'all know that in honor of my 500th blog post, I'm making my book The Upside Down World ~ A Book of Wisdom in Progressavailable to download for free from Amazon through Sunday. The book is an eclectic (but not scattered!) collection of essay, memoir, poetry, storytelling and more with original artwork. It's the sort of quirky gem that the big publishing houses would never let through the filters.

I hope that if you have any interest in inspirational/religious/Christian/spiritual writing, you'll check it out.

Thanks and happy writing and marketing!

-Rebecca

Here's a wonderful new self-published book by a talented young writer, Jennie Stancu, that combines personal narrative with practical advice and positive encouragement for massage therapists or any woman looking for balance in her professional life: http://www.inspiredmassagetherapist.com

Welcome, Linda, and Congratulations on your memoir! I now must pop by and give it a look. My memoir, Diary of a Vet's Wife, Loving and Living with Pot Traumatic Stress Disorder is due to be released in about a month. Heading over to your site, my curiousity drives me :)

Hi all, thanks for letting me into the group. I'm trying to get reoriented to SW as I've been away for a time busy with book-related activities. I published my memoir, Two Hearts: An Adoptee's Journey Through Grief to Gratitude,in June. I'm looking forward to learning about everyone else's projects too.
