Hi Nancy. "Husbands" is not a true story, it's a novel and the genre is women's fiction. You have to submit to Awesome Indies for review. They're pretty picky about their recommendations, so I'm pleased to be selected. "Husbands" is my first novel and a film producer discovered the book shortly after it was released. She hired the screenwriter.

Congratulations, Judith. Been busy self-publishing my memoir but stop by to read comments, though no time to reply. I wandered over to Awesome Indies because it was new to me. My question...I understood "Husbands..." to be a true story, but I didn't see that genre listed. Were you nominated or did you submit yourself?
And a screenplay August 6th! How amazing!! Is this your first screenplay? Your passion and dedication will now reap the rewards and recognition you deserve. :)
@Judith...You know what they say. It takes YEARS to become an overnight success. You are well on your way, my friend. Three years and going strong. And keeping the rest of us encouraged, too. :)

Linda, Your intro on Amazon is very compelling, filled with mystery and grief. Will add it to my wish list as I must finish self-publishing my memoir first. Good luck and much success.:)

Thanks Catrina and Regina (you two should be sisters!). Even after three years, good things are still happening for my novel.
Comment by Catrina Barton on July 29, 2012 at 2:44pm Congrats Judith! :)
