Comment by Karen A. Wyle on May 7, 2012 at 4:27pm This Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8th and 9th, my SF novel Twin-Bred will be free on Amazon. This is the last time the book will be free (except to reviewers) until just before the sequel comes out, which may be this October.
Twin-Bred asks: can interspecies diplomacy begin in the womb?...
Comment by Daphne Q on April 22, 2012 at 3:03pm I like the name "speculative fiction." I've been describing my work as "sorta sci-fi," but this is so much better.

Today I blogged about how I decided to go the self-publishing route with my two award-winning science fiction novels, and my surprise when the second won not only a 1st place in science fiction, but best fiction book of the year. Not that I don't think it's a good book, but science fiction books just don't to that!
