Today I blogged about how I decided to go the self-publishing route with my two award-winning science fiction novels, and my surprise when the second won not only a 1st place in science fiction, but best fiction book of the year. Not that I don't think it's a good book, but science fiction books just don't to that!

Comment by Sue Ann Bowling on March 7, 2012 at 11:44am More crowing and a bit of pinching myself: Tourist Trap not only took first place in science fiction, it received the Garcia Award or best fiction book of the year. How often does that happen for a science fiction book?
Comment by Catherine Stine on March 1, 2012 at 7:12pm Congrats, Sue!
