If all goes well, I will shortly be blogging about self-publishing vs. traditional publishing for a big big big media site. I need your questions.

1. Qualms, comments, or concerns about choosing self-publishing over the traditional route? Or vice-versa.

2. Successes?

3. Regrets?

I just published on Kindle for the first time. I found uploading the text of my book very easy but I was intimidated by creating my own cover. I did succeed, but am considering going the professional route in the future for my cover. I feel like I am only now getting my feet wet in the self-publishing world, so maybe I can give more insights on success or regrets in the future. The problem with traditional publishing is that the gate is narrow and the path is crowded. It does feel empowering to self-publish. And I'm intrigued by the way the traditional and self-publishing worlds are becoming more and more intertwined, thanks to Amazon. It's a fascinating topic, so good luck!

how was the Kindle experience?  I want to try that when my book is done (next month??).   What was the biggest a-ha you learned?
