Hello all! My publisher has given me a few more copies ofThe Wisdom to Know the Difference to share with reviewers! The book explores the Serenity Prayer and the idea of accepting the things we cannot change, while changing those we can change. I interviewed people from a variety of spiritual traditions and backgrounds. If any of you would like to review the book on your blog, I'd be happy to send you a copy. (If I get too many requests, I'll just have to figure out a way to pick some.) Please make your request offline so as not to clog up everyone else's email. My address is eileenflanagan at juno dot com.

So excited! I will be working with "The Girls of Grace", (the young girls in our Church) to write a play based on Proverbs 9. After it is written, another woman in our church who is a very good director, will direct the girls and it will become a ministering play. They hope to be able to perform it a number of times as a witnessing tool and to help them understand the difference between wisdom and folly in our world today. With God's help this will be not only enjoyable but life changing for all involved.

Funny Women

I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

"I draw in the margins, or on my 3 X 5 cards. If I'm going to focus on drawing, I prefer watercolor, colored pencils, or markers, depending on the design. And I like the softer colored pencils better than the hard. "

EPIC ENCOUNTER.

With a bag of vegetables in one hand, an umbrella in the other, lashing rains on my brain, not only did I think my life couldn't get more chaotic but  I wondered as to why I am moving around with my cell phone stuck between my chin and neck instead…See More
