Comment by Irene Kessler on January 22, 2013 at 10:47am Hi all,
I am writing Elisha's Trace, a young woman's journey to spirituality in Ancient Israel. I would love to have comments on these song lyrics she has written.
My heart is opening one petal at a time,
My heart grows big and strong,
It is learning to give one gift at a time,
Each gift leads closer to Sha-dai.
Each gift leads closer to Sha-dai.
Being closer to Sha-dai brings a joy so intense,
It makes me want to give more.
The petals of my heart, like a rainbow burst forth
As each step leads closer to Sha-dai.
Each step leads closer to Sha-dai.
FYI - for those who don't know, Sha-dai was the first name given to God by the Hebrews.
Thanks so much. Any comments would be helpful, I've never written lyrics before.

Comment by kate aleck on January 17, 2013 at 10:07pm Unloosed my bindings.....
release me
uproot the weeds of past regrets that hold my heart so still
let me breath
I lay my face to you, my hands, my mind I lay to your earth
and let the blood waterfall from my heart
unloosed my bindings.....
I need to hear
you
expunge the tangled chaos of banal evil left from all undone, unsaid
from the core of my being
show me now the outcome of my cell fish net
the resultant mirage of amy dig you la la la la la.....
reptilian chilling empty nest
unloosed my bindings....
transform my heart
let me follow its lead
set my feet strong upon that path of light
that genetic pulsing clearing pathway, past into future
let me hear that whispered clarion call....
crystal clear and true
