My friend asked to read my MG short story FINGER PAINT and it freaked me out. How do you feel when people ask to read your work? http://wp.me/Mefj

Hello -- I am new here and just finishing up my final revisions on a middle grade/tween fantasy novel.  So my question is should I look for an agent first or try going straight to a publisher?  I have read very different opinions and am looking to learn from the experience of others!  All advice is welcome.

THANKS!
