Hey!
My first novel has been released and I am about to have my book launch party. I am thrilled and terrified at the same time. Any tips on how to have a successful reading/signing?

If at a book store, select a time after the office when people are passing the local bookstore on their way to the subway. Invite your friends to be there. A crowd makes folks wonder, "What's going on in there?" and they may join the gathering. If hosted at a friend's home, ask each invitee to bring a friend. Have plenty of books on hand and bring a dessert that easy to share.
Best of luck! And, enjoy the moment.

I could make "shoe" cookies since my title is Mama's Shoes!
