Hi everyone,

As a precursor to the release of my novel I am e-publishing  a short story to introduce the world to my characters.  I have a challenge...if you win then I will add a character that is modeled after you to the short story.

I was surprised to see your explanation! However, I just think your all that and more now! :)) Thanks again for your help. It was the right advice, at the right time.

Why would anyone be disappointed, Jen? LOL You're HELPING us, no matter how simple your explanation ends up being. :)

Oh goodness, you ladies flatter me.

I'll explain, but I'm afraid you're going to be very disappointed with my answer and then I'll be embarrassed! I am happy that it helped you out, Candy. That's awesome. :)

I second that.

Jen, I was thinking about one of your replies some time back about my trouble with finishing my novel. You suggested finding a couple of Alpha readers. Well, I'm well on my way to finishing!! and have selected two people to read for me as Alphas. I thought it might be a good topic for a post above, explaining the differences between Alpha and Beta readers.

I blogged about this and had a couple of people who were curious for more information on them and the differences between the two.

Since it was your advice, would you like to do the honors? I think a lot of our members here would benefit from learning about them!:))

Thanks for your suggestion, it really got my rear moving!

Rebecca, I know the feeling! But, stick around, there are wonderful people and great writers here to converse with. If you ever need something, just ask!
