Comment by Candy Fite on April 20, 2011 at 10:45am Jen, I was thinking about one of your replies some time back about my trouble with finishing my novel. You suggested finding a couple of Alpha readers. Well, I'm well on my way to finishing!! and have selected two people to read for me as Alphas. I thought it might be a good topic for a post above, explaining the differences between Alpha and Beta readers.
I blogged about this and had a couple of people who were curious for more information on them and the differences between the two.
Since it was your advice, would you like to do the honors? I think a lot of our members here would benefit from learning about them!:))
Thanks for your suggestion, it really got my rear moving!

Comment by Maria Kristina Abiog on April 15, 2011 at 10:31am Hi,
I just joined SW a few hours ago. I'm not yet starting a novel but I wanted to learn to be able to. Though a memoir is what I'm opting for my first book and a poetry book as well.
I hope I'm in the right group for that goal. :)
