Stylish Blogger Fall Edition

Dear Sara, you stylish girl in your cute brown boy booties, how I love you....

but now I've got to come up with seven of my own stylish ideas for this fall/autumn season. I've been thinking about it a bit but it's kinda hard seeing as we are having Texas fall temperatures and I'm still wearing my sandals and tank tops. But, here it goes...oh, I'm so stylish!

1) I have discovered the wonderfully fun and addictive…

Mammographie/Mammogram--No Biggie

Posted on October 11, 2011 at 9:29am 0 Comments

You know how I told you that I had to have my first mammogram? Well, I did it last week.

But not before I got news from Texas Bestie A that made all my fears and anxieties about having it done seem silly.

I don't think she'll mind if I tell you that she has gotten The Bad Result. She's 41 and very healthy, active and fit. Just like you and me. And now she's tackling the problem with signature nerve, determination and energy. She's read all about it, knows her options and has…

Aidan,
Delighted to have you join us in the novelist group – please accept my belated welcome (I’ve been finishing a novel on deadline, and traveling to boot).

If you haven’t done so already, you might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion.

We do a live chat the first Wednesdays of each month at 1 EST, with instructions on how to participate in the "Our Water Cooler" box near the top of the group page. And we save the wall for discussion, but welcome links to helpful blog posts on the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread and to published books in the “Our Published Novels” one.

I hope you’ll enjoy the group.

Hi Aidan,

Wow, no, I'm pretty new to blogging, I write articles and reviews for an old fashioned, printed newsletter and a travel guide for an inflight mag and fiction for moi-même, but I am now discovering how much fun it is to write a blog and discover other like-minded souls.

So, is a Blogapalooza meeting up?  If so, I'd love to. And I'll go and check out those neighbours you mentioned, thanks for the guidance :)  Claire

Hi Aidan:

Welcome to Global Writers, and sorry for the delay with your membership in the group!  I don't think I ever got your request to join--perhaps She Writes email was down the day you signed up?  I'm not sure, but I just came on the site now and saw your request to join the list.  Again, sorry for the delay!

Please feel free to post a self-intro on the wall and let us know about your global writing and lifestyle.

Looking forward to staying connected!

Tracy
