Happiness is an Inside Job

There has been a lot of talk over the years about what makes people happy. Is it a massive lottery win? Is it a new house, a new car, a new relationship? Is it a new addition to the family? No doubt you can see the pattern here, all these things are external.Even the UK government have wanted to know how they can make us happier and therefore improve our wellbeing (the bottom line being to take some of the pressure off the…See More

Who I am:
I've been reading forever and writing since I was six. I presented my first story to a children's publisher in London when I was ten. They liked it and asked me to write more for a small book. I didn't because life took over and hey, it was London in the swinging 60's!

In my grown up world I was a psychotherapist for 30+ years and my first book was the result of clients telling me I should write one. So I did. An invite to discuss it on local radio led to a regular guest slot as The Emotional Detective.

In 2006 after two years intense training in faiths and ceremonies, I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister. A year later I was commissioned to write my second book, a guest guide for those invited to unfamiliar faith events. Published in the UK and US it led to global coverage and media interviews including the Los Angeles Times.

My labels are author, speaker, therapist, mentor, workshop facilitator. My passion is personal and spiritual development from the inside-out inspired by the long-held belief that inner peace = world peace.

I'm a seniorpreneur with an active inner five year old and a wild array of other 'characters', and I'm determined to leave this world shouting 'Wowza, that was one hell of a ride!'
