I write poetry and just can't seem to write daily. (I actually started my blog so I could write daily. But now I have trouble making time for my poetry between blog posts!)

Just wanted to give you an update -- I got the cover for your Kindle, but am still waiting on the Kindle itself! Amazon must be very happy indeed to have such high demand. Hopefully it will come soon...

I am very excited to send you your Kindle, with ten books preloaded onto it, + our own Lori Tharps' new novel, Substitute Me. Send me a direct message on She Writes with your mailing address, and I will get it to you in the next week! Thanks so much for being part of She Writes, Alex. Members like you make it all work.

I am becoming more fearless. I am sure that as I shed the feelings of inadequacy and just write, my writing will improve. I can only liken it to wearing a bathing suit...we do all we can to hide in the locker room...putting off the moment when we have to go outside in the sun and let others see us, cellulite and all. When we love to be outside in the sun not worrying at all about what others think. When we lose the fear of exposure we are free, and the words will come..
