Who I am:
**Writer of Non-Fiction Book: Common Stones
My Christian-based non-fiction book, Common Stones, is a compilation of six testimonies gathered from every-day individuals. Stories of struggle and pain. Stories of hope, healing, and love. Ultimately, I was seeking the "common stepping stone," leading each of these courageous men and women to triumph. When continually asked why I decided to write Common Stones, I have always stated it would be selfish of me to keep these incredible stories to myself. They need and deserve to be shared. We are meant to connect in this life, often forgetting to slow down and do so.

"That's a very good point regarding not getting hung-up on small errors from other writers as well. If we do that, we tend to miss the essence of what we're supposed to be absorbing in the article/book.  Thanks for sharing, Linda!"

The Fear of Judgment

Judgment is never fun. We put in the long hours. We lay our thoughts and hearts on the line, eager (and at times, less-than-eager) to drink in the responses from family, friends, and the public. But what if we don’t receive overwhelming praise? What if we don’t receive praise at all? What if our skills,…
