I need a program that is available for Mac, can do the full cover and save in PDF. InDesign is overkill by an order of…See More

I suppose it's a sign of having made an impression when a guy with whom I have never corresponded before (but is married to one of my advance readers) follows up on my Facebook photo comment with an ALL-CAPS protest against an event which takes place in the middle of my novel. Since the event in question has no relation whatsoever to the cuteness of him playing with his 1-year-old daughter as captured in the photo posted by his wife, it took me a few seconds to realize that he wasn't just…See More

Meanwhile, I am still busy revising my first novel according to my editor's suggestions, and therefore still staying up well past my bedtime most nights, but am I going to wake up earlier than usual just to turn on my…

Alyson, I just opened the door to the novelist group for you - welcome! You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. And we do a live chat every Wednesday; hope you can join us for that!
