One of the very first manuscripts I completed...

Posted on January 14, 2012 at 10:01pm 1 Comment

We've all been told to never throw anything away.  Well, it's so true.  One of my first manuscripts, ignored for a long time, I pulled out...dusted it off, and gave it a second look.

Now, it's available from Vanilla Heart Publishing!…

If you lost every material item you had, would you want it all back, or would you do it differently?

People always ask where do writers get the ideas for their stories.  And I always answer, "Life."  My novel, Sweet Victory, was created from pieces of the lives of 15 million people.  People who lost their jobs, homes, and in some cases families.…

Angela;

I listened to your radio interview today for Loves Chance and really enjoyed it! It was so great getting a peak into your personal inspirations through your voice. I would love to get some information on your experience with your publisher, how the publication has paid off for you. Again, really enjoyed the show, keep up the great work of self-promotion!

Angela -- thank you so much for your comment on my post about the PW list. I have been kind of started/appalled/concerned by the lack of discussion of the race issue here. It wasn't just women who were ignored, but nonwhite people (with one exception), and it is an equal outrage. Would you consider doing a blogpost expanding a bit on the comment you left for me? I'd love to feature it on the main page of She Writes.

Warm best,
Kamy
