Anne is a novelist, a developmental editor and web designer. Born in Kraków and raised outside of Toronto, Anne holds a BSc degree with specialized honors in Animal Biology from the University of Guelph in Canada, and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California. Prior to running an equestrian center, Anne’s experience ranges from animal behavior to animal nutrition to cancer research. Once she realized her passion in writing, Anne pursued her classes via the Writing Salon in San Francisco, and continued under the mentorship of best-selling author, Ellen Sussman of French Lessons. She has workshopped with Robert Goolrick of The Reliable Wife; Jacquelyn Mitchard ofThe Deep End of the Ocean; and Maria Semple of Where'd You Go Bernadette. She has participated in conferences in Southern California, San Francisco, Maui and the Bahamas. She continues her education via books on writing, classes, group critiques and conferences. But, perhaps, of all the experience she’s leaned into, her most meaningful work was as a young woman cleaning horse stalls, twelve hours a day, seven days a week – all to cover her dressage lessons. It’s there where she developed her keen observation skills — of both horses and humans — that inform her insightful writing. Anne's novel has found representation with Kevan Lyon, of the Marsal Lyon Literary Agency. Anne is currently writing her second novel.
