I'm in Korea again returning on Monday. I have been inspired this trip to write a somewhat different story. My brother as you may recall, had lost contact with his son (last male to carry the Kim name). Well, my bro is in LA visiting him now, and it is so tragic. the kid has had renal failure and kidney transplants most of his life, can't move too fast, home schooling, no college, on wait list for a 2nd kidney transplant. his mother also had a kidney transplant. so, I think I can encapsulate the whole big story I was attempting, into this one occurance. especially after my mother says: I'm gonna kill that matchmaker! talk about bittersweet/cross-cultural and intergenerational bizaareness.... anyway just my thoughts. I just found out today, and have been very sad all day.
