Who I am:
I am a nonfiction writer. I am currenlty seeking representation for my memoir about an impossible love that succeeded (mine and my husband’s) even though that same constellation, the forbidden love between a German and a Jew, had failed in my family before and was the previous generation’s ultimate nightmare. My essays have appeared in many literary journals. I hold an MFA in creative writing from Queens University of Charlotte, teach memoir writing at StoryStudio Chicago and English composition at Kaplan University, and do communications work for my children’s school.
