The Bluest Eye!
I saw a couple of people mentioned Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye in the comments. That was a fantastic book! I'm writing a 50 page thesis on mothers in this and other Morrison novels. If anyone wants to share what they thought of the mothers in the book, I'd really appreciate it! I'd love to hear how my thoughts compare to others'. :-)
