- Though I am a 47-year old human resources professional, my better work is as a wife and maniacal hockey mom of three great minor league goalies (15 yo and 14 yo boys and an 11 yo girl). I am currently breathing zamboni fumes in Ottawa, Ontario. A dash of sarcasm and and a shot of chardonnay will get me through writing a hockey momoir (...someday).

Deborah Armstrong said… Hi Astra - I enjoyed your morning blog. I am a retired hockey mom who truly misses the cold arenas and the terrible coffee. I'm not addicted to Tim's - it's okay. I prefer a large Americano. Starbucks is fine but expensive. My best cups of java were served in London, England. I thought the English made tea, but they really know how to make a great cup of tea.
