Health and wellness expert Ayla Skye has racked up plenty of experience in the culinary and athletic worlds as a cookbook author, cooking instructor, fitness competitor, and former U.S. Olympic hopeful. This San Diego girl has more than 15 years of culinary expertise and three generations of cooking knowledge to inspire her slimmed down, fast and easy recipes.
After a shoulder injury kept her from pursuing her Olympic dreams, Ayla was still able to maintain her athletic physique with only moderate exercise -- and people started to take notice. Everyone wanted to know what her secret was and, with more and more friends asking her how she stayed so fit while recovering, Ayla decided to share her skills and recipes with the world.
As a busy athlete who spent most of her time training, she had to learn to cook fast -- which led her to create simple five minute breakfasts and lunches and quick cooking dinners. Her practical approach to healthy eating led to the creation of her “Quick and Fit” method, which is captured in her first book, The Eat From Home Diet: How to Get a Slim Body and Fat Wallet. Her approach focuses on the benefit of eating from home with her favorite quick and healthy recipes.
