My Brand-New Blog!

After more than a year of planning, in mid-March 2013 I launched my website and blog for women writers, and now, at last, I'm ready to participate in She Writes!

My blog features essays about writing and the writing life; interviews with writers; opportunities, tips, tools, and resources for writers; and inspiring stories and quotes from writers and artists.I'm posting the latest posts here and hope you'll come visit my site.

I've worked as a writer and editor for more than thirty years; have published stories, interviews, and articles; and am currently completing a book for women who write--a creative guide to overcoming self-censorship. My first book was The Recovery Resource Book (Fireside, Simon & Schuster, 1990).
