Barbara L. B. Storey is a writer, blogger, photographer, and aspiring painter. She loves to write, to read, to travel, and she believes in love very deeply. She lives in Canada, but is a former resident of New York City and misses it very much.

She's also particularly fond of certain book series - Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Outlander - of poetry, historical fiction, mysteries and thrillers, biographies, and history of almost any kind, but particularly art and political.

She has lived several different lives, but through them all, one thing has remained true: writing is essential. Always. With photography as a close second, since it's about telling stories, too. And for her, that's the most important calling she could ever follow.

"Perfect Need - Seven Tales of Love and Passion" is my first book, self-published last year. It is a small anthology of short stories - erotica - and poetry. One of the stories is available for free on iBooks,Kobo, and B&N - Queen of Heaven. My first full-length novel, "World Enough, and Time" is now out looking for a home with a traditional publisher!

I am still working on a memoir, though it is in a fallow state right now. Many other writing projects are in the planning stages!
