I spent a decade caring for my husband who died from younger-onset Alzheimer's disease. I was compelled to write a book for caregivers and it is being released June 1, 2016, and will be available wherever books are sold. "Calmer Waters; The Caregiver's Journey Through Alzheimer's and Dementia" is a wonderful resource for caregivers of patients with all types of health issues. But since my direct experience was with Alzheimer's disease, the target audience is Alzheimer's. I am now doing public speaking events, including radio interviews and book talks, to help caregivers.
I'm also a technical writer by day, and a poet at night. I have a master's degree in professional writing and specialize in writing and researching for manufacturers of nutritional supplements. I write marketing copy, and long articles based on scientific studies in peer-reviewed journals. My website is: www.cohnwritingsolutions.com
I've written a full-length novel for ages 8-12, which is unpublished, half complete a second historical fiction piece for the same age group. I wrote a children's picture book which I will soon try to sell, and hope to write a fun adult novel.
I've also written hundreds of articles on various topics, and dozens of poems, including a couple that have won awards.

I joined She Writes because of Sheila Grinell. I heard her speak several months ago at a book club. I saw her yesterday at the Local Authors' event and she told me you invited her to speak at the PWC.
