Recently I've heard from several people who have diaries, journals, poetry and other documents from ancestors. Let's share what treasures we have, what they teach us about ourselves, and how we can use them as the basis for our own writing.
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:
Laura's Children: the Hidden Story of a Chinese Orphanage
My Roots Go Back to Loving and other stories from "Year of the Family"
Media outlets that I currently write for:
The Messenger
Southwest Homeschool Network newsletter
Canaan Home Communications
My writing is:
Nonfiction, Poetry, Memoir, Journalism, Blog Posts
Services I offer to other writers:
The StoryPower for Kids Writing Workshop brings children together with parents and/or other relatives to tell the stories kids find most fascinating: family stories. Then the children use art and writing to turn the stories into family gifts. The workshop strengthens family bonds, develops students’ writing skills, and provides adults with tips to encourage their children’s writing development at home.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons:
No, just a fruitful relationship with one other published writer.

Reviews can be critical for a writer, yet hard to come by for those unable to participate in a local group. This group was founded to provide all SheWrites members with access to feedback no matter where they might call home.
