Using social networking sites in "legit" research
Hello all--Who as used social networking sites as part of a semi/formal research project whether as a survey instrument, focus group, etc. or as part of a program evaluation? I am getting a bit of blow back, that social networking sites aren't legit avenues for "collecting data." (To which I say "nonsense" but I have to sell a proposal up the food chain.)
