I agree with you totally. Unless you're particularly video/tech savvy, find appropriate people to help. Graphic designer Bill Brown of Madison, CT stepped up when I put out the call because he wanted to try his hand at a book trailer. The result? We…

Thanks, Kamy! It's a unique challenge to condense one's book into 4 minutes, but it forces you to zero in on a few key elements. Then you just hope that people will read the whole book and judge for themselves what it's really about! I'm very gratef…

Rachel Resnick read at Yale Bookstore Feb 7

I was thrilled to introduce Rachel Resnick, who read from her provocative and insightful memoir, "Love Junkie" at the Yale Bookstore last Sunday! She was in from L.A. for Yale's Sex Week events, plus readings in NYC. Audience members shared about their love addictions. It was a great event.

Hi Binnie,

I read your post on the Memoir Group and the review in Jewish Ledger and your book sounds fascinating! I've also found boxing a great way to deal with aggression; the best part of my post-divorce 'therapy' was discovering a kickboxing class here in Cambridge, also taught by a Pro, a gentle human being with a powerful punch. And I love the Jewish boxer history. I'm attaching link to an article I just published in The Forward about Hakoah Vienna, the Jewish sports club that just celebrated its centennial. http://www.forward.com/articles/119116/ I'd like to pitch a review article to them! How do I go about getting a review book?
Thanks,
Karen Propp

Hi Binnie, Thanks for the note! Yes, I saw the O article and show; it was part of the impetus to do this anthology. We're really excited about the way it's shaping up. If you know of any potential writers, please pass along the call for submissions. Thanks for reaching out!
Take care,
Laura

My cousin, Em, doesn't see it. She sees a plain face, limp hair, fat rolls, etc. But to me she's beautiful, and maybe I'm biased, but she's the most beautiful woman I've ever known or seen. It's because she's the sister I never had, my sister in Chr…
