Getting Yeasty/Showering With Others

There is a stage that you come to when you have finished a first draft of your novel. I reached it at last. In fact, I finished the draft a week and a half before I sent it to my agent. It took several days to recognize that I'd gotten to the point I'd been working toward for months (years). The timetable is all mine, but still there is a goal -- a date I want to get there by. Aha, "the "date by" goal! I mentioned it casually to a few people so they wouldn't think I was twiddling my thumbs.…See More

Hi, Breena! It's so lovely to find you here. I don't know why it took me so long to discover this space. Yes, we'd absolutely love to have you at the 2011 AROHO Retreat--it's a very different creature from anything we've done before. Same great space, exciting new format, a more experienced group of writers. I'd love to chat with you about it if you want. I'm finding that a lot of writers are having a hard time shifting gears to imagine this new thing we're trying to create. I think you'll like it!
