You'll love this: My next door neighbor and best friend has a son in the Marines. He visited in the fall and I got to meet him. Well, as a parting gift, I drew a bindrune for him. Each little symbol has a meaning. Don't know how well you are familiar with Runes, but < is the rune for the feminine open body part (ahem). So I included that for sexual attraction for him, as well as a rune for the warrior spirit and several others. I did it quickly, but it turned out nice. A few weeks ago Kim (my friend) told me that Jason had the bindrune made into a tattoo! OMG. She sent me a photo that his girlfriend took. He was shirtless and driving a Hummer (or in the seat). That's what he does. Anyway, I photo enhanced/played with it and decided it will be PERFECT as a cover for my time travel/fantasy/romance. I just have to tweak the plot a bit to be sure that the bindrune is a central focus. I already had runes as part of the plot. Jason and the girlfriend have agreed to do some more photos, but I like this one. So, is it weird to write a book around a pre-determined cover? tee-hee.
I will look into joining the fiction group. Thanks, again, for the welcome.
