I'm a published author and I still sometimes feel this way. I think it comes with the territory...if that's any consolation. Or maybe knowing that even if you decide to write full time, you will still struggle with doubts and wonder about…

Mariana, I totally understand. Just remember if people are there, it means they WANT to hear what you have to say. Good luck in November! Be yourself and I'm sure you will be great!

Why I chose to go ebook for my 3rd novel

You don't need me to tell you that the ground is shifting under writers' feet. You can feel it yourself. So I'll leave off the primer about how publishing is changing due to technology and the economy and who knows what else.

I do want to point out, however, that while the…

Carleen, that would be great.  I'm meeting with
Jefferson Patrick, owner and barista, on Aug.
18th to talk about dates for readings.  I work
with Jefferson as a volunteer because I
think it's important to provide a local, independent
spot where authors can read and sell their books.
We will be talking about times for readings -
evenings vs mid-day - and other details.  Do
you have specific dates available?  If so,
let me know and we'll see how we can arrange
it.
We'd love to have you at RWB!
Warmly,
Andi

Hi Carleen,

I will co-presenting with two other writer friends on writing op-ed pieces and getting pieces ready for submission to the Denver Post Colorado Voices contest. All three of us have been chosen in the past. My section will be on using blogging to strength your writer's voice and to use as it a platform to write concise and compelling pieces.

Look forward to meeting you!

Carleen,

I read this last weekend while I was snowed in, and it was a treasure. It's been a long time since a book has made me cry. Now I find this website and I see that it's being made into a movie. Bravo! I wish you all the best. I love this book and I will be recommending it to my girlfriends.
