My career has been as zigzaggy–from opera singer to VP at a commodities trading house, with other odd stops in between. I was co-editor of When Last on the Mountain: The View from Writers over 50. I, too, believed strongly that contributors should be paid, but we had to settle for free copies and unlimited copies at 50% discount. We charged no reading fee, of course. Hello Carol!

Thank You so much for joining my group Blooming Late!

It looks like you have quite a body of work and encourage you to please list your books in OUR GROUPS BOOKS in the pages section to the left of the groups main page.

I think many of the ladies here can relate to the squashing of desire and ability when they were younger when it concerns their writing. I sure can and I am so glad that you have a book that even speaks to more mature writers like us.

Please have a look around the group and feel free to participate in the many discussions and activities we have.

Also please take some time to introduce yourself to the group in our Kick It Off discussion.

SO glad to have you here and WELCOME to the group!
