- Freelancing from New Orleans, I'm a words addict specializing in journalism (particularly covering local culture and the arts, food, community efforts, etc.), blogging (corporate, technology, the arts), creative nonfiction (nonfiction and memoir), poetry, and beginning to dabble in fiction. I've got six years of magazine, PR, copyediting, and blogging experience plus some transcribing and technical writing. I'm looking for more freelance work to cover the bills and working on various side projects, particularly fiction, creative nonfiction (memoir-based mostly), and poetry.
