Novelists - published or not - chatting about beginnings, muddy middles, dang endings, what to do with it all. Please don't shout (all caps, big images) or post links on the main wall except as part of the conversation. Please do include modestly sized covers in "Our Published Novels"! See More
A six-word memoir is a statement that tells a story about who you are and how you live your life. . It expresses your identity, personality, emotions, personal interests, wisdom, beliefs, professions, and experiences.
I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

Freelancing from New Orleans, I'm a words addict specializing in journalism (particularly covering local culture and the arts, food, community efforts, etc.), blogging (corporate, technology, the arts), creative nonfiction (nonfiction and memoir), poetry, and beginning to dabble in fiction. I've got six years of magazine, PR, copyediting, and blogging experience plus some transcribing and technical writing. I'm looking for more freelance work to cover the bills and working on various side projects, particularly fiction, creative nonfiction (memoir-based mostly), and poetry.

We're delighted to have you join us in the novelist group! If you haven’t done so already, you might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion. We do a live chat Wednesdays at 1 EST, with instructions on how to participate in the "Our Water Cooler" box near the top of the group page. And we save the wall for discussion, but welcome links to helpful blog posts on the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread and to published books in the “Our Published Novels” one. I hope you’ll enjoy the group.

We're a casual, friendly bunch :)
Be sure to let us all know how you found out about our little group here on She Writes!
