A Writer's Birthday Thoughts
Today is my birthday.Mostly, it feels like any other Saturday. After all, birthday is just a number. Right???I've noticed, though, that the older I get, the more I tend to look back at all the events of my life. I enjoy writing fiction, poetry, as well as screenplays. I have a few short stories published as well as several poems. I'm currently working on two book-length manuscripts as well as one screenplay. I'm also considering starting a serialized fiction for young adults.

My muse abandoned me. Again!
I'm struggling to put words down on paper that I don't hate. Nothing is flowing; not the way I feel it should anyway. The more frustrated I get, the worse this "block" becomes. Grr.
Should I continue to write crap? They say that every writer needs to write lots of crappy stuff in order to produce that one true gem. There is this author who wrote Bird by Bird where she said we need to write "shitty" first drafts in order to…
