- Who I am:

I am a 52 year-old woman dying from ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's Disease)a fatal neurodegenerative disease. Only 2% of all ALS cases are genetic-my family is unmercifully affected. I am an ALS Advocate, and a an LGBT activist. I'm also a columnist, blogger, and singer/songwriter. The ALS caused me to "retire" from being the Safety Director at The Davis Food Co-op.
