Hello, German-born sister! Welcome to She Writes and thank you for finding me and sending a signal that was a really nice surprise. What did you like? My page? My Gertrude Stein blog?

I liked a promanade through your website, and love the name Cat Rambles: very funny and sweet!

Are you into Gertrude and the present huge controversy? If so, I hope the comments I gathered on my latest post, with cartoon, will crack you up!

HI, Cat -- Thanks so much for taking a peek at my blog. . .Yes, there is so much going on in autumn. I'm always listening for birds, and I can't say I've heard warblers here. Lucky you. I read your 'very rough draft' of 'Her Deepest Wish.' I think what struck me most was the fairy-tale-like quality to it, dark from the very start. Maybe those Crayola crayons were a subliminal set-up. I look forward to more.

I'm so sorry about the being ill and the tests. Take lots of care of yourself, and I hope it's over and all okay soon.

Lots of hugs,
